Understand Math, One Lesson at a Time
At Lasker Math, we understand that keeping up with middle school math isn't always easy. Students may understand a concept in class but struggle when completing homework independently. Others may need additional explanation, guided practice, or help preparing for an upcoming test.
Through Lasker Math, we offer personalized 1:1 online math tutoring for students in Grades 6–8, including Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1.
Our tutoring complements what students are learning in school. We help them work through challenging assignments, revisit confusing lessons, strengthen foundational skills, and prepare for quizzes and tests.

Led by an educator with approximately 20 years of special education teaching experience, our approach recognizes that every child learns differently.
We adapt our explanations, pacing, and instructional strategies to meet each student's needs, including students with IEPs, 504 plans, and learning differences.

Lesson Catch-Up
When classroom instruction moves too quickly or students miss important concepts, we reteach difficult lessons using clear explanations, examples, and guided practice.

We review important skills, address areas of confusion, and help students approach assessments with greater confidence.

Personalized online coaching matched to the player’s level, goals, tournament experience, and areas for improvement. Online coaches may include experienced chess instructors, experts, masters, and titled players.
